Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè (/ˈjɘgè/ /ˈvip˔e/ [gradual] [legend; myth]) is a subtropical Town located in the Vyilekhoupe Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè was founded by Ǵi̊ch́ Trêm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè receives an average of 75 cm/y (29 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 8618 m (-14675 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1063, by Ǵi̊ch́ Trêm. The establishment of Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious carved bedrock mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's bare minimum defences are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

A look around Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's citizens locals enjoy many vices and lustful appetites. They may have religious sanction for their deeds, or neighbors might trade with them for such things, or they could be followers of some ideology that blesses such pursuits. Their economy or their social organization is usually heavily reliant on such traffic, and to ensure its continuance they may have made bargains with various mortal and immortal powers.

Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè lost 230 people, 257 livestock, and 59 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 133, when members of Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's militia enacted an operation to bring aid to another fighting force. The operation was complicated by major logistical problems. The conflict ended with the defense of the fortification against a siege, which ended in defeat for Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Yêgè-vipíe Dêtîkè's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
